MANUFACTURE OF NON-RIGID POLYURETHANE MOLDED FOAM

PURPOSE:To produce a product having small scatterings in hardness and in the weight of the product by a method wherein the amount of polyol ingredient or water is changed in response to the change of room temperature in the manufacturing method of chlorofluorocarbon-free and water-expanding non-rigid polyurethane molded foam. CONSTITUTION:The pouring amount P of non-rigid polyurethane foaming stock liquid satisfies the formula: P={WX(1.00-1.27/(100-GL)}X100, in which W is foam unity weight or the weight of a product minus the weight of subsidiary materials and GL is gas loss. In response to room temperature, polyol ingredient is changed from 90 through 100 to 110% or the amount of water is controlled to be from 110 through 100 to 90% before being poured in a mold for expanding the stock liquid.
