PURPOSE:To mount and dismount a secondary air device of motorcycle easily and make it convenient for maintenance of an engine by connecting it to the engine by means of least parts and mounting it between main tubes on the right and left of its frame. CONSTITUTION:A secondary air device consisting of an air cleaner 1, a switching valve 4, and a read valve 12 is mounted between main tubes 16 on the right and left on the rear side of a head pipe 15 of a frame 14 on the upper side of a cylinder head of an engine 9, the reed valve 12 is connected to an exhaust port 19 of each cylinder of the engine 9 by a secondly air pipe 21, and a negative pressure chamber 5 of the switching valve 4 is connected to an intake manifold of the engine 9 by a hose. |
