PURPOSE:To allow the proper circulation of liquid liable to polymerize or deposit as cooling circulation liquid by applying electrolytic polishing treatment to the surface of a supported section positioned in a rotor shaft and caused to come in contact with the liquid flowing inside a sealed vessel. CONSTITUTION:A pump casing 2 houses an impeller 1. Also, a cylindrical frame 3 houses a motor section. The internal surface of the stator 4 of the motor section is sealed with a stator can 5, and the external surface of the rotor 6 of the motor section is sealed with a rotor can 7. Furthermore, the shaft 8 of the rotor 6 is supported with both bearings 9b and 10b at both ends via both sleeves 9a and 10a. Regarding a leakage-free pump so constructed, each surface of the sleeves 9a and 10a, and the bearings 9b and 10b is subjected to electrolytic polishing treatment. According to this construction, the frictional heat of liquid flowing in contact with the supported sections 9a and 10a of the shaft 8 is restrained, and the fluidity of the liquid is stabilized.
