PURPOSE:To easily obtain a crosslinked polyolefin having excellent heat- resistance and useful as a molded article, etc., in high efficiency by treating a copolymer of an alkenylsilane and an olefin, etc., with a specific catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective crosslinked polyolefin is produced by treating a copolymer of an alkenylsilane (e.g. vinylsilane) and an olefin (e.g. ethylene) or a mixture of the above copolymer and a polyolefin using a cyclopentadienyl complex of a lanthanide metal as a catalyst. The concentration of the catalyst is preferably 0.1-100ppm. |
