PURPOSE:To provided a method of cleaning an optical molded item and mold capable of obtaining a high degree cleaning effect by no use of an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The method is characterized in that casting sirup is poured into a glass-made mold and a plastic optical molded items is molded, and thereafter the optical molded item and mold are cleaned without use of a solvent. This includes a first cleaning process by an alkali solution, a second cleaning process by water cleaning solution, and a third cleaning process by extrapure water. |
