PURPOSE:To obtain a recording sheet for an ink jet printer which is large in absorbing speed of ink and has high transparency and an excellent coloring property. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet for an ink jet printer is provided wherein a porous layer consisting of pseudo-boehmite is provided on a transparent base material, a mixed porous layer containing 0.1-0.5 pts.wt. of silica per 1 pts.wt. of the pseudo-boehmite is provided thereon, and mean transmittance of visible light of a recording sheet is 50% or over. |
