<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering, reusing and/or recirculating a multicomponent vapor mixture containing materials such as a hazardous gas sterilizer existing only in vapor phase and consuming ozone. CONSTITUTION: Multicomponent vapor mixture used in a closed chamber 12 such as a sterilizer is taken out from the closed chamber 12 and is introduced into a first cold trap 34. The mixture is condensed partially by cooling down it to a level of a first temperature. The condensed material is fed into the bottom of a second cold trap 46 as well as uncondensed vapor is fed into the second cold trap 46 at a higher position than that of feeding the condensed material. The second cold trap 46 is cooled down to a lower temperature level than that of the first cold trap 34 to condense all the uncodensed vapors. Consequently, energy necessary for recovering is decreased remarkably from that of conventional technology, and a safe balance between a component such as a hazardous strilizer gas of the vapor mixture and a blanket agent vapor is maintained.</p> |
