发明名称 LUBRICATING MATERIAL USING ULTRAFINE QUARTZ PARTICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the most effective lubricating material using spherical, nontoxic, sterile and highly dispersible ultrafine quartz particles having high mechanical strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance, which are produced from high-purity silica glass. CONSTITUTION:High-purity silica glass is irradiated with high-temperature laser beams of about 35000-40000 deg.C, the evaporated gas generated thereby is recovered and cooled to obtain ultrafine quartz particles 10a, 10b, 10c as mixed spherical particles having nonuniform diameters around ca.0.2-0.4mum. A mixture of the ultrafine quartz particles 10a, 10b, 10c with ultrafine fluororesin particles 12 of low friction resistance is added to a lubricating oil.
