A current measuring device for measuring an absorption current and a secession current in a gas igniting safety device of an instant type is disclosed. The current measuring device comprises an up/down counter connected to an oscillator, a D/A converter connected to a power supply unit for converting an output of the counter into an analog signal, a differential amp unit for comparing a voltage of the magnetization coil with the output of the power supply unit, an A/D converter connected to a latch circuit, the D/A converter, and a display unit for converting the output of the differential AMP unit into a digital data, and a secession sensing circuit having sensors. As a result, the absorption current and a secession current are precisely measured by a sensing function of the sensors.
