The digital encoder proper to a digital camera includes a demultiplexor for separating a time division color difference signal, a low-pass filter for band-limiting the separated color difference signal and for passing, a subcarrier frequency converter for converting the color difference signal into subcarrier frequency, a frequency modulator for modulating a converted color difference signal, a burst generator for generating a burst signal, and a chroma encoder for mixing a modulated frequence signal and the burst signal and for generating a chroma signal, thereby widely being used for the camera of digital system.
