The invention relates to a universal charger for rechargeable batteries with different types of casings. It comprises: a box (20) having a holder cavity (22); a casing mounting base (30) arranged removably in this cavity; a sliding abutment plate (40) which carries, on one side, a vertical abutment element (41); a locking means under this abutment plate; a sliding passage (23) close to the cavity; a retention means (24) engaging, in this passage, with the locking means in order to hold the plate in place; a sliding adjustment means (33) movably combined with the mounting base (30), and being adjusted in vertical position; two terminal bases (36) combined with horizontal sliding with the adjustment means (33), and each carrying two contact pins (37), one vertical and the other horizontal; and a plug-in cavity (25) set back in the box (20). <IMAGE> |
