Device for effortlessly opening the corkscrews of penknives. The invention relates to a device that quickly raises the corkscrews of penknives. It consists of a corkscrew (3) whose foot comprises a projecting part (4) resting on the spring of the knife and offset from the pivot pin. The horizontal or closed position of the corkscrew sets up tension in the spring while a steel tooth (6) formed at its top end holds the tip of the corkscrew. When the user exerts sideways pressure, the corkscrew leaves the notch of the tooth and springs out automatically under the pressure of the spring. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for opening corkscrews of penknives. <IMAGE>
