PURPOSE:To make an input interface circuit or a cell selector compact and economical. CONSTITUTION:Respective buffer memories 1a1-1ak of an input interface part 1 successively shift the phases of optical cells by a prescribed length, and a kX1 optical switch 1c performs O/E conversion by successively inputting VCI contained in the optical cells outputted from the respective buffer memories to an O/E converter 1d in the manner of time division. Then, a 1Xk switch 1e sends the O/E converted VCI to correspondent signal processing parts 1b1-1bk, and the respective signal processing parts exchange the VCI and add tag information based on the inputted VCI. Similarly, a selector constituting an ATM optical switch 2 is provided with one common ODE converter and the routing processing of the optical cell is executed by successively inputting the tag information TAG outputted from the respective signal processing parts 1b1-1bk to the O/E converter in the manner of time division and sending the ODE converted routing information to the routing part inside the correspondent selector. |
