LOW-RIPPLE POWER SUPPLY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove ripples for a wide range of frequencies and to supply a stable load current by performing ripple removing control at frequencies below a basic power supply frequency, using a voltage generated on a reactor transformer provided at a power receiving point. CONSTITUTION:An alternating voltage detected by an alternating voltage detector 16 is inputted to an alternating current side serial type active filter 15. Only a ripple component in frequencies below a basic power supply frequency is then picked up from the detected alternating voltage. The negative-phase alternating voltage is supplied to the power receiving point of a low-ripple power supply device by means of an inverter in the filter 15. Thus, the ripple voltage in the frequency band of the basic power supply frequency is removed from nearby 1Hz at the power receiving point.
