The invention relates to an internal combustion engine provided with a rotor which, comprising an open ring and an annular solid disc with movable vane plates supported between them, in rotation about an eccentrically supported, cylindrical stator or about a concentrically arranged stator of oval shape, forms lunate chambers of varying volume, which is provided with a turbine with inner helically arranged blades (milled corrugations). The turbine is supported between the sealing ring, which seals off the chambers from the housing, and the outer shell of the housing and connected to the main shaft by way of an annular solid disc. Laterally or in the circumference of the sealing ring, in the area of the outlet chambers, the combustion gas outlet forces are directed by way of ports or nozzle ducts with guide vane function at the turbine mounted above and, due to the helical arrangement of the turbine blades, transported by means of the centrifugal force produced by rotation to the outlet in the housing, without generating any vortex.
