The invention relates to a novel design of a device for cleaning bottle cases, with at least one conveying stretch which is formed in an internal or treatment space of a housing and on which the bottle cases are moved for treatment with at least one liquid cleaning medium, with an immersion bath which forms at least a part of a conveying stretch and in which the movement of the bottle cases takes place in a conveying direction by means of a flow of the cleaning medium, with at least one circulating pump which generates the flow of the cleaning medium and is connected with its outlet at one end of the immersion bath and with its inlet to the other end of the immersion bath via a return duct.
