Transporting crate

The invention relates to a plastic transporting crate, consisting of a base and four side walls which are connected at their upper edge by a frame, the two longitudinal side walls arranged opposite each other being foldable in their centre parallel to the bottom, being attached by their lower edge to the base by means of hinges and by their upper edge to the frame by means of hinges. The object of the invention is to provide a crate which can be produced primarily of plastic and allows orderly lateral removal of the object when the transporting crate is in a stack. The invention consists in that the base is constructed as a trough which takes up about one third to half the height of the upright crate, and in that at least one end side wall consists of at least one slide which can be displaced out of the trough perpendicular to the plane of the base between or in front of the longitudinal side walls and can be fixed thereon or on the frame or the base in its pulled-up position.
