Connector arrangement for the transfer of energy between a plastic-sheathed optical fibre (14) and a diode (7). The optical fibre (14) is seated in one connector housing (13) and the diode (7) is seated in the other mating connector housing (12), e.g. of a multi-pole (multiway) demountable connection. The contact end region of the optical fibre (14) is mounted crimped in a retaining sleeve (1) which stiffens the contact end region of the optical fibre (14) and is formed from a stamped sheet-metal part, and the contact end (14c) of the optical fibre (14) projects by a predetermined piece from the retaining sleeve (1). <IMAGE>
