PURPOSE:To make the power generation capacity of a solar battery maximum, to effectively utilize solar radiation energy, and to extend a service life of a battery. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 3 and a solar battery 1 for generating electric power corresponding to an electric power output command value are connected to each other, and bidirectional DC/DC converter blocks 5A, B are inserted between the connecting point of the solar battery 1 and the inverter 3, and a battery 4, and a switch 13 is connected in parallel to the bidirectional DC/DC converter blocks 5A, B. In such a state, when a battery discharge/charge command is issued, the bidirectional DC/DC converter blocks 5A, B are operated by turning off the switch 13 and the voltage of the connecting point of the solar battery 1 and the inverter 3 is controlled so that the generated electric power of the solar battery becomes maximum. When a battery charging command for commanding the charging by an electric power system 7 is issued, the switch 13 is turned off, the inverter is operated as a converter to control the charging current or charging electric power to the battery 4 at constant. |
