Switch for a suspended conveyor

What is proposed is a switch for a suspended conveyor for transferring a conveying trolley from a main line into a secondary line, in which the switch tongue is arranged pivotably on one of the lines via an articulated body which can be inserted via a shank into the hollow profile of the rail. The articulated body has two long holes which form the bearing lugs and which serve for receiving the joint pin fastened to the switch tongue. When the outer contour of the shank is matched to the inner contour of the rail, the joint can be connected pivotably. As a result, the articulated body is particularly suitable for being produced from shock-absorbing plastic in a cost-effective way, as a consequence of which it becomes possible to mount the switch in a shock-absorbed manner. Moreover, self-lubrication is achieved by means of the plastic/metal connection. <IMAGE>
