PURPOSE:To obtain an audio signal easy to listen to every listener without a large sized equipment by localizing a sound image of an audio signal in a forward direction when a calculated output is listened to via a headphone. CONSTITUTION:A monaural audio signal is outputted from an audio signal output device 1 is outputted and inputted to a computing element 4 via a contact (a) of a switch 2. The computing element 4 emphasizes a frequency band at which the audio signal is felt to be listened to from a forward direction (with forward localization) and other frequency band is attenuated as a forward sense emphasis function H is supperimposed and it is fed to a computing element 5. The computing element 5 calculates a transfer function 1/Hhp to compensate the characteristic of headphones 7a, 7b. The audio signal from the computing element 5 is given to the listener 6 via the headphones 7a, 7b. Thus, the audio signal is given to the listener 6, in which the frequency band with the front localizing sense is emphasize and the other frequency band is attenuated. |
