PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a motor drive circuit by suppressing the motor drive circuit current immediately after an abnormal current (overcurrent) is detected. CONSTITUTION:A motor drive control circuit has a microprocessor 3, motor drive circuit 5, and relay. The circuit has a motor overcurrent detecting circuit 14 to detect an overcurrent in a motor or motor drive circuit and to output an overcurrent signal, and a current control circuit 13 located between the relay and motor drive circuit and designed to control the motor drive circuit current according to a motor overcurrent signal. The circuit also has an overcurrent detecting circuit 4 to detect an overcurrent in the motor drive circuit and to output an overcurrent signal, and overcurrent monitoring circuit 15 to control the relay by monitoring a motor trouble signal, overcurrent signal, and control signal from the microprocessor. |
