<p>PURPOSE:To provide an accurate current detecting resistor and a method for manufacturing the same in which a current of several tens A flows, a voltage of several tens mV can be detected and the irregularity in its resistance value is reduced. CONSTITUTION:The current detecting resistor comprises a low resistance metal resistor 2 having a pair of current terminals 5, 6 and a pair of voltage terminals 7, 8, and insulating members 3 for sandwiching the resistor 2, wherein the terminals 5, 6 and 7, 8 are bent so as to be surface mounted, and the resistor 2 can monitor the voltage between the terminals 7 and 8 generated by a current flowing across the terminals 5 and 6, thereby trimming to regulate its resistance value.</p> |
