Joint element with thrust-pin connection

A joint element for producing an expansion joint between concrete parts is equipped with thrust-pin connections (4, 5) which are fastened on metal sheets (12.1, 12.2) which bound the expansion joint (13) on both sides. The metal sheets (12.1, 12.2) are spaced apart by a plate-like joint material (13.1). On one longitudinal side of the joint element, the joint material (13.1) is set back with respect to the border (14.1, 14.2) of the metal sheets (12.1, 12.2), thus resulting in the formation of a channel, by which the joint element can be placed on to a positioning moulding (2). Longer joints are formed with a plurality of joint elements which abut at the end sides and can be connected to one another by a clamping element. <IMAGE>
