The invention relates to a clothes-peg which makes it possible to keep laundry articles together according to known principles of order, such as, for example, according to their colour, size, type or user, and which maintains this situation during the collection of dirty laundry, washing and drying and the depositing of the laundry, for example in the laundry cupboard. The object on which the invention is based is, therefore, to make the sorting and ordering of laundry articles easier in the private sector, and also in the commercial sector. For keeping together and holding simultaneously a plurality of laundry articles preferably belonging together according to known principles of order, the peg consists of a basic body having a pair of legs extending from it. Arranged between these are clamping elements which act relative to one another and which exert on the inserted laundry article a clamping force which prevents the laundry articles kept together from being separated during mechanical washing and drying. Furthermore, the basic body has means for suspending the peg.
