<p>PURPOSE:To improve a doze detecting precision, to improve the deterioration of the detecting precision due to individual variation, and to time-sequentially stabilize the detecting precision. CONSTITUTION:In outline, the long period time sequential mean value ([Wo], [Wk], and [Wt]) of a doze discriminating parameter (eye opening Wo, blinking frequency Wk, and closing time Wt while blinking) is defined as a threshold value for discriminating whether or not the discriminating parameter (Wo, Wk, and Wt) is a value equivalent to doze. In detail, a coefficient (alpha, beta) corresponding to an operation continuing time or a traveling distance is calculated, a value ([Wo]Xalpha, [Wk]Xalpha, and [Wt]Xbeta) obtained by multiplying the long period time sequential mean value ([Wo], [Wk], and [Wt]) by the coefficient is defined as the threshold value, and compared with the discriminating parameter (Wo, Wk, and Wt), so that the doze can be discriminated.</p> |
