PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber amplifier which can amplify an optical signal while sustaining the polarization characteristics thereof. CONSTITUTION:Since all optical components passing an optical signal, as shown by 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, have polarization plane preserving characteristic, the plane of polarization does not fluctuate during optical signal passing process and the optical signal is amplified and outputted while sustaining the polarization characteristics at an input point. |
