<p>PURPOSE:To provide the member which can be used as a carrier member and a triboelectrifying member and has sufficient mechanical strength by coating a member material and adding at least one or to compounds selected from among specific sulfonylurea compounds on the surface of the member material. CONSTITUTION:The triboelectrifying member for positively chargeable toner contains, at least one or two compounds selected from among sulfonylurea compounds represented by the formula I or II at least on its surface. In the formula I, A is a phenyl or naphthyl group optionally having substituents; each of B and C is independently. hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a phenyl or naphthyl group optionally having substituents, where B and C are optionally joined together to form a ring. In the formula II, each of D and E is independently hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a phenyl or naphtyl group optionally having substituents; X is a phenylene, biphenylene or naphthylene group optionally having substituents.</p> |
