<p>PURPOSE:To realize the device which is inexpensive and has high productivity by not forming a flattening film over the entire surface and by partially forming parts for filling level differences in places where display quality is not affected. CONSTITUTION:The level difference parts 106 which exist between the color filters 103, 104 and 105 and a substrate 101 in the color filter structure formed by forming stripe patterns on the striped color filters used for a color display device and having transparency and between the color filters 103, 104 and 105 and are generated in the directions orthogonal with transparent electrodes 108 of the color filters 103, 104 and 105 are formed outside the effective display area and leveling films 107 are formed only near the level difference parts 106. The leveling films 107 are arranged on the outer side of the effective display area in such a manner, by which the influence on the display is eliminated and the omission of the flattening film for filling the level differences is possible.</p> |
