PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of paper at a receiver side by using a predetermined picture processing when an operator makes a command, storing plural picture already stored in a memory as one picture and sending the picture data so as to reduce the transmission time. CONSTITUTION:The operator makes transmission operation and uses a key entry device 108 to designate the same paper transmission. The facsimile equipment gives a request the operator to inform the umber of documents to be printed on the same paper. The operator designates the number of documents and implements storage processing of the document. Then one page document converted from the plural documents is sent. On the other hand, when the operator does not make designation of the same paper transmission, the usual document is stored for transmission processing. In this case, picture data read from a scanner 110 are sent to a decoding circuit 112 via a bus 117, coded and stored in an HD 113. The data of plural sheets are reduced by a density conversion circuit 115, in which the data are reduced into one page. |
