<p>PURPOSE:To mitigate impulse force at the time of releasing the lock of a leader block when the threading is started and to improve the imperfection of the housing of the leader block to a machine reel when the threading is ended related to a magnetic tape device drawing out a magnetic tape from an one reel type cartridge and recording or reproducing a signal. CONSTITUTION:By a threader pin driving means 17, a threader pin is engaged with the leader block in the cartridge 14, and the leader block and the magnetic tape are drawn out to be housed into the machine reel. A file reel motor 12 is rotated slightly in the drawing direction of the tape through a file reel motor control means 19 immediately before the threading operation or previously by a control microcomputer 20. When the threading is ended, the leader block is overrun by a prescribed amount and housed into the machine reel by the threader pin driving means 17. Thereafter, a machine reel motor 13 is rotated.</p> |
