PURPOSE:To provide a cryostat for a superconductive magnet, in which a cooling container is protected from an outside thermal effect using a simple horizontal supporting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In a cryostat for an superconductive magnet, a cooling container 7 for cooling a superconductive magnet 6 inserted therein at an ultra-low temperature with a coolant like a liquid helium is suspended by a suspension rod and supported horizontally by using a horizontally supporting mechanism 14. In the horizontally supporting mechanism 14, a projected fitting part 15 is provided at an outer bottom part of the cooling container 7, and a pair of coil springs 16 are provided opposite to each other and horizontally in an overall unit body 2 so that each end part 16b moves toward a middle point of both these springs. A pushing part 17 that slides for pushing each side of the projected fitting part 15 with the given force is joined to this end part 16b of the spring coil 16. |
