PURPOSE:To provide the zoom lens which has a vibration proof mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This zoom lens has a 1st lens group G1 which has positive refracting power and a 2nd lens group G2 which has negative refracting power in order from an object side and a stop S is arranged between the 1st lens group G1 and 2nd lens group G2; when the power is varied from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end, both the lens groups are moved together on the optical axis toward a body while the interval between the 1st lens group G1 and 2nd lens group G2 is reduced, and the stop moves on the optical axis together with the 1st lens group G1. When the lens is put in focus from a long distance to a short distance, the 1st lens group G1 and stop are both made stationary and the 2nd lens group G2 moves on the optical axis toward an image plane. Further, when the blur of a photographic picture plane is corrected, the 1st lens group G1 is moved almost at right angles to the optical axis to insulate vibration and further conditions are satisfied. |
