The invention relates to an electrical device which is equipped with at least one connecting terminal (13), having a stationary contact element (14) and a screw (16) for tightening or fastening the stripped end (38) of an electrical conductor (11) against it. According to the invention, a pointer (28) is connected to the screw (16), this pointer (28) being fitted in a moving manner and being connected in motion to this screw (16) over at least a section of its path, and an elastic element (25) being provided which results in the pointer (28) being continuously excited in the direction of an outer quiescent position.
