An instrument panel 12 for a vehicle dashboard having meters and indicating lamps, a drive circuit 13 therefor, a centralised control circuit board 14 having a control circuit for vehicle-mounted electric equipment including the meters and indicating lamps, and an electric junction box 15 distributing an electric supply and input/output signals for said vehicle-mounted electric equipment and integrating a ground wire, are integrated in a common meter module unit 3. Electrical wiring and installation of electric instruments in the dashboard of an automobile are facilitated. Details of the electrical plug and socket connections are given (Figs. 30 - 32). <IMAGE>
