PURPOSE:To provide a line-status monitoring system wherein a service interruption and the output current of a power supply apparatus can be detected with high reliability without making the wiring of the system complicated. CONSTITUTION:An uninterruptible power supply apparatus 41 sets the frequency of an AC output, in an inverter circuit 47, which is supplied to repeating apparatus 31 at the variable frequency of a first frequency region during a non-service interruption and at the variable frequency of a second frequency region not overlapped with the first frequency region during a service interruption, and it controls the first and second frequency regions so as to correspond to the magnitude of the current of the AC output. The repeating apparatus 31 transmits the frequency of AC electric power supplied from the uninterruptible power- supply apparatus 41 to a centralized monitoring apparatus as monitoring information. The centralizei monitoring apparatus receives the monitoring information sent from the repeating apparatus 31, it calculates back a corresponding relationship from the frequency value of the AC electric power, and it detects the magnitude of the AC output current of the uninterruptible power supply apparatus 41 and the service interruption status of a commercial AC power supply.
