A sensor element in a vehicle load measuring device includes two cylindrical mountings which have, in each case, a hole along the central axis; and a plate-shaped element between the two cylindrical mountings, the plate-shaped element having protuberances on both ends, a coil being arranged on a central region of the plate-shaped element; the cylindrical mountings being welded to the plate-shaped element and the protuberances being plugged into the holes of the two cylindrical mountings.
