The machine for forming round crop bales has, in a movable and swing-open housing (1, 1a), belts (bands) (12) which rotate endlessly about a plurality of rollers (2 to 11) and form and limit a winding chamber (13) and which, between two lower rollers (2, 3) arranged at a distance from one another, form a crop inlet (14) for the picked-up and supplied crop (15).
