Process for producing plastics fittings for joining and branching pipelines or hose lines, the ends of the fittings being optionally provided with a pipe connection element or hose connection element in the form of a compression ring or of a threaded connection. According to this process, first, for each fitting, the basic bodies with connection ends are produced which are all free of connection elements and the separately produced connection elements are optionally joined to the connection ends of the basic bodies.
