The cooking burner enables an abnormal cause selectively among a multiple heating sources to be displayed, making it unnecessary to newly set a display switch. The cooking burner comprises a multiple of burning sources; a means detecting abnormal causes occuring in relation to the operation of the heating sources; a means memorizing the detected abnormal causes; operators, equipped at each heating source, having means to manually position the heating sources; a means displaying the abnormal causes. The heating sources are set with priorities. When abnormal causes occur more than twice, the abnormal cause in the higher priority is displayed.
