The cooking burner determines easily abnormal causes and detects their related heating sources. The cooking burner comprises a multiple of heating sources preset with priorities; operators, equipped at each heating source, having means to manually position the heating sources; a means detecting abnormal causes; a safety device enforcing the abnormal heating sources to stop; a means memorizing the detected abnormal causes; a means displaying the abnormal causes; a means erasing the memorized abnormal causes when the heating sources is positioned at a stop. When abnormal causes occur more than twice, the abnormal cause with higher priority is displayed.
