PURPOSE:To utilize an automatic teller machine (ATM) by reserving a transaction in advance by utilizing a telephone even when a customer comes to a bank without carrying a card or the customer loses the card. CONSTITUTION:This ATM system is composed of an ATM 16 equipped with a reserved transaction instructing means, telephone number searching device 4 for searching a telephone number from which the customer makes a call, customer file control part 11 for retrieving a customer file 12 from the searched telephone number and reading customer information, telephone input controller 5 for controlling the customer information transmitted from the telephone, data collation/decision part 10 for collating the customer information transmitted from the telephone with the customer information read from the customer file 12, and main control part 1 for controlling the operation of the ATM 16 or the like. |
