<p>PURPOSE:To stably perform tracking control by providing a third gap part between a first part and a second part and recording a blanking signal whose frequency is different from that of a pilot signal each other on the third gap part. CONSTITUTION:The blanking signal fB is used for erasing the pilot signal recorded over an adjacent track when heads with whose width are wider than a track pitch are used as the magnetic heads 4a, 4b or erasing an unwanted signal recorded previously. Thus, the required pilot signal is detected with a further excellent S/N. In such a case, video signals reproduced alternately by the magnetic heads 4a, 4b are switched alternately by a pulse I from a circuit 16 in a video signal processing circuit 30, and a continuous reproducing video signal is outputted to a terminal 200b, and the stable tracking control is performed since no reproducing pilot signal is mixed into the reproducing video signal.</p> |
