<p>PURPOSE:To make forgery impossible by a method wherein most of a magnetic body forming a magnetic layer is oriented in a magnetic field in a prescribed direction of orientation in relation to the direction of coating of the magnetic layer and the direction of orientation of a part of the magnetic layer is made the direction of non-orientation or of a prescribed different orientation. CONSTITUTION:Most of a magnetic layer 2 on a base 1 formed of a nonmagnetic body is oriented in a magnetic field in a direction A in relation to the direction of coating and further a part of the magnetic layer is oriented in the magnetic field in a direction B. Figs. illustrate an example wherein a part of the magnetic layer 2 has a differently oriented part 3 formed in a smaller film thickness than the other most part thereof. The base 1 is made of a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate or the like, and as for a magnetic body forming the magnetic layer 2, a gamma-iron oxide, a chromium oxide or the like is used.</p> |
