PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device to secure the mutual connection between the microwave integrated circuit MMIC devices via a compact coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION: An almost semicircular connecting section part 20 including a conductor part 35, a dielectric part 40 and a shielding part 45 which are placed toward the outer side from the center of the part 20 in a 3-layer coaxial structure is formed at the end part of a coaxial cable 5 contained in a circuit plate 57 by means of a coaxial/coplanar waveguide connector 1 that secures the mutual connection between MMIC packages 25 via the cable 5. The part 35 is connected to the packages 25 via a conductive ribbon 65, and a dielectric plate 10 is covered with an adhesive member 17. Then the cable 5 is wired in the member 17, and a conductive member 18 and a dielectric member 19 are continuously put on a dielectric cable plate. The upper part of the cable 5 is eliminated by milling, and a conductive member 50 is connected to the part 45 and then to ground surface 18 of the plate 57 and the packages 25. Furthermore, another ribbon 65 is connected to the packages 25 from the part 35. |
