PURPOSE:To allow the boiling detection with little error in case or the different water quantity or in case of the different camber of a pot or the like by utilizing the temperature gradient and the elapsed time as the boiling detection data. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a thermo-sensitive element 6 is converted into the digital signal by an A/D converter 11 and fed to a microcomputer 12. The microcomputer 12 is constituted of a gradient detecting means detecting the input temperature gradient, a counting means counting the heating time, a memory means storing the fixed temperature gradient and the fixed count time, and a calculating means. When a current starts to be fed to a coil 4, the microcomputer 12 judges whether the temperature gradient from the temperature gradient detecting means is the preset value or lower or not, if the temperature gradient is not the preset value or below, it judges whether the preset time has elapsed or not. When the temperature gradient is the preset value or below or the preset time has elapsed, it judges as boiling. The boiling can be thereby detected with little error. |
