PURPOSE:To obtain a highly photosensitive resin excellent in the characteristics of the cured films thereform by reaction of a specific dicarboxylic acid component with a diamine component using a carbodiimide as condensation agent so as to all the diamine and carodiimide to the reactional system in a multistage fashion. CONSTITUTION:In carrying out reaction of (A) a dicarboxylic acid component prepared by previously reacting A1: a tetracarboxylic dianhydride with A2: a (meth)acrylic group-bearing alcohol of the formula (R1 is 26C organic group; R2 is H or methyl; (p) is an integer of 1-5) (e.g. glycerol dimethacrylate) with (B) a diamine component using (C) a carbodiimide (e.g. dicyclohexylcarbodiimide) as condensation agent, each specified amount of the components B and C, based on the total amount of the component A, is added to the reactional system at a time in a multistage fashion, thus obtaining the objective resin consisting of a high-molecular weight polyamide. For example, in the case of two-stage addition, equimolar amount, based on the component A, of the component C is added to a solvent solution of the component A to make a reaction followed by addition of 1/2 mol, based on the component A, of the component B to put forward the reaction, and then similar operations are carried out once more. |
