<p>A fuel dispenser system includes a housing with a first enclosure (19) providing a safe area for mounting electrical apparatus (25, 27), a second enclosure providing a hazardous area (31) for mounting fuel carrying apparatus, an air gap vapour barrier (29) separating the first and second enclosures, at least one electromechanical valve for controlling fuel flow, having a solenoid winding (25) mounted within the first enclosure (19), and a valve body (47) mounted within the second enclosure (31), with a control rod (35) connected from the solenoid winding (25), through the air gap (26), to a plunger (49) for control device within the valve body (47). In the hydraulic sub-assembly module, in the second enclosure, several valves and meters can be mounted by pair with filters connected to a manifold receiving the fuel. <IMAGE></p> |
