<p>PURPOSE:To adjust a gap due to wear of the friction pad easily by controlling one end of the rod, which contacts with the back of the friction pad by turning the nut, by means of the elasticity of spring of the stopper. CONSTITUTION:When the friction pads 4, 5 have worn, the rod 14 is forcibly turned after removal of the cover 19. One end of the rod 14 is fit in the nut 10 that is turned by the lever, the other end is haxagonal and is put in the foot 16a of the stopper 16. A hole 16c is drilled in the stopper, one end 17b of the recovery spring 17 passes through the hole 7b of the wall 7 to control the position of stopper. In this way, the damping gaps of the friction pads 4, 5 can be adjusted since the rotation control position by the spring of stopper is changed by forcibly turning the rod.</p> |
