PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition which comprises poly(methyl methacrylate) as the main component, has a desired refractive index higher than that of the polymer, bath a high transparency and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:A transparent homogeneous mixture of a polymer consisting mainly of methyl methacrylate units and a monomer consisting mainly of isobornyl methacrylate is polymerized.
